Camargue Group Limited is supporting Fred. Olsen Renewables with its consultation process on the Hope Moor Wind Farm project.

Camargue Group Limited (“we” or “us”) is committed to ensuring the privacy of your personal information. In this notice we explain how we hold, process and retain your personal data.

How we use your personal data

We may process information that you provide to us.

This data may include the following:

  • Your name 
  • Your address (or your address for service of notice (if different)) 
  • Your telephone number 
  • Your email address 
  • Your employer or any group on whose behalf you are authorised to respond 
  • Your feedback in response to any consultation or engagement 
  • Any details in relation to your interest in the relevant land or property and current status of sale or offers on that land or property (i.e. leasehold, freehold, tenant, rights, easements or other legal interests) 
  • Managing/letting agents’ details 
  • Any other personal data that you give us in correspondence 

We will use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To record accurately and analyse any questions you raise during the consultation or engagement activities, or feedback you have provided in response to any consultation or engagement activities 
  • To report on our consultation and engagement for the Hope Moor Wind Farm project, detailing what issues have been raised and how we have responded to that feedback (please note that the information contained in the consultation report will be aggregated and will not identify specific individuals) 
  • To personalise communications with individuals we are required to contact as part of future consultation or communications. The legal basis for processing this data is that it is necessary for our legitimate interest, namely for the purpose of ensuring the consultation and/or engagement process, analysis and reporting are accurate and comprehensive. 
  • To identify and collect details of all parties holding a legal interest in the relevant land or property affected by the proposed development plans. We may therefore get in touch with you and ask you to provide us some details in relation to the interest that you may have in the land and/or the property. 
  • To provide you with updates about the Hope Moor Wind Farm where you have given us consent to do so, or where we are otherwise required to do so. 
  • In addition to the specific purposes set out above, we may also process your personal data when it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, particularly where required to provide information to the Planning Inspectorate, or Secretary of State, as part the decision-making process under the Planning Act 2008. 

Providing your personal data to others

We may provide your personal data to the following recipients:

  • Fred. Olsen Renewables on whose behalf we are collecting your feedback in order to analyse and report on the responses received 
  • Third party service providers and professional advisors who provide services to Fred. Olsen Renewables in connection with the consultation 
  • The Planning Inspectorate and/or the Secretary of State (and as part of this, your data may also be made publicly available where this is required in relation to the statutory process under the Planning Act 2008 where necessary to comply with requirements relating to application documents under the Planning Act 2008) 
  • Our insurers / professional advisers. We may disclose your personal data to our insurers and / or professional advisers when reasonably necessary for the purposes of obtaining and maintaining insurance cover, managing risks, obtaining professional advice and managing legal disputes 

Retaining and deleting personal data

Personal data that we process for any purpose shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose.

Unless we contact you and obtain your consent for us to retain your personal data for a longer period, we will delete your personal data as soon as practicable following the outcome of the consultation process.

We may retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
